Guy Carpenter Christmas Party

Friday was the Guy Carpenter Christmas party…my “day job”;)As always, i have a lot of fun shooting people partying & dancing…basically, having a good time. I will admit, I felt like I was shooting a wedding reception, although no bride and groom. Food was great, as any other wedding that i’ve been to. I hope that’s always the case.:)And it was fun hanging out with co-workers and friends.

The party was located in 1 Madison Ave. Check out the cool view:

Mmmmmm…beef, pork & turkey..ahhhh

yuk…i tried, but i just can’t..

David Spiller, President and CEO with a few words:

Charles Bordner - Looks like a great Christmas Party. I hope all your co-workers now what a upcoming photographer you are. Talk to you soon AZ!!!

Rosie & Frank

I had the opportunity to shoot a wonderful couple, Rosie & Frank. I’ve know them for a long time, and remember when they got together. (Hey Frank, remember that ride on the subway?) lol. Anyway, i wish you guys the best of all!

You see, Rosie wears glasses. So when i arrived at her house, i told her, “are you wearing your contacts?” she said, “no, i can’t get them on..” LOL. Man, was I in for a mission. But, she has the most pretty eyes. Her glasses would hide them. I was like you have to try. She get’s soo scared that she flicks as soon as she feels something in her eye. So me, all determined and all, had to try…with the help of Samantha.

and i got them in!! This pic is freaky, right?

Here are some of the photos of their day:

Yet another painful one:

Julie Walton Shaver - These are really great, Allan! And you’re right — she does have pretty eyes! (You have to have just the right kind of wedding dress if you’re going to wear glasses with it. That’s a tough one. So GOOD JOB getting her contacts in! You’re awesome!)

Charles Bordner - Alan….you cease to amaze me. For you to have a creative eye so early into your career is spectacular. Tell your friends to hang on to your coat tails, because you’re going to the top!

HOT VIDEO

I think this is one of the hottest videos i’ve ever seen. If you see it in DVD, or HD, EVEN BETTER. The artist is 12 Stones. Just had to share.

Hasta luego:)
