Street Event

Saturday was a fun shoot. I had the opportunity to take some shots of an outdoor Christian event, run by Evang. Jose Luis. There was a lot to offer in the community. There was great music, free food, clothes and entertainment. Most important of all, Jesus Christ;)

Here are some shots of the children:

There was a group of dancers and rappers. That was really cool:

Infamous Lisandra with her pantomime talent, and our incredible singers Jessie & CeCe:

Can’t forget Angel and Luis:

These brothers had a message for the community. They sure blew it up!

A lot of people stopped by to listen:

Better Business Life Everyday - Okay…you are amazing. what wonderful emotional shots. I love the expression of all of the rich chocolate images. I also love all that color in your portraits of the children. You have done a really beautiful job capturing the whole event. Way to go!

Gwendoline & Jony

I’m so happy to have so special people in my life. Thanks to Gheisha and Lela for helping me on Saturday! (not angel…lol) It wouldn’t have been possible without you.

First I should say it was a long day! Shooting from 5.30am up to 9.30pm. Whoa! I was beat!

And the story begins:

Arrival at Gwen’s 5:30am;)

The attire:

Gwen cracking up…I really don’t know what she had the night before, cause she was at it all day–you’ll see:

Then, her make up:

This is a funny one:

Isn’t she beautiful?

Family:

Gwen had a cool gift for Jony:

A stinking Movado!!!

They got a harpist for the ceremony. How cool!

The wedding–Look at her. She is such a tease!

Stole some shots right after the ceremony:

I forgot what they were doing! They are so into each other:

Mom wrote Gwen a song and had a special guest sing it:

After reception I downloaded my images and headed for the beach:

I work in Hoboken, N.J. right on the pier, with the beautiful view of Manhattan. Usually I go to the gym a couple of times a week during my lunch hour; or even when it’s nice out, I decide to jog. But lately I’ve seen a beaver around the area. And i thought it was cool. So I decide to take my camera to see if he would pose. And he did! So funny how he was just chilling in the shade.

Check out the park:

Here’s the cool beaver:

This is his home:

Anonymous - National Geographic might be hiring Allan. Jk. bro…. Love you lots and the pics are phenomenal!

Yesterday I photographed the softball team at my day job. I have been doing it since the season began, so I thought I’ll post a couple of my favorites.

Here’s Scott at home plate:

I love the way Erica sets herself as she waits to head to second base:

There’s something interesting about this photo:

Don’t you just love saturated color!!!

The following shots were nuts. I climbed the baseball fence and shot from up top:

We have a double header tomorrow, so I’ll be definitely taking a whole lot more!
Stay tuned.

Brett Austin - That is awesome that you climbed the fence to get those shots! I can just imagine what that would have looked like. The angle is killer though!

Excellent vision and great execution!
